bark deco was established because chou-chou, our chocolate lab, needed a new bed. although there were many web sites and boutiques catering to lucky little dogs, there were very few options for a stylish, larger lady like herself. fortunately, i love modern design almost as much as i love dogs, so i got to work creating what i believe to be the ultimate dog bed. bark deco beds use the finest "human grade" materials, from exotic wood veneers to talalay natural latex foam. i am happy to announce that all bark deco cushions are now covered with crypton super fabrics. in my quest to provide our canine clients with the absolute best, i came across crypton and knew the softness and durability were the perfect fabric to add to the collection. talalay latex is a naturally derived hypo-allergenic product. it provides extraordinary joint support and breathes to keep our canine clients comfortable throughout the seasons. i was thrilled to find jerome brown, a local craftsman extraordinaire. jerome's expertise lies in custom modern design. from hand-applied and hand-finished veneers, to circular ventilation holes, jerome fine tuned construction through a lengthy prototype phase.
